Israel Travel Experience

I invite you to an Israel Travel Experience, a virtual visit to my country. I greet you with a warm SHALOM.

Here I show you all aspects of this small country that despite all odds has developed to be a center of technology, agriculture and science.

But above all, Israel is the spiritual center for Jews all over the world. Christian and Muslims also consider this land sacred according to their beliefs.

A View of Jerusalem
Alt Text--jerusalem israel

My first Israel Travel Experience was in 1959 when as a teenager I came to Jerusalem for a year of studies, and spent several months working in a kibbutz. More about this in our about us page.

Israel gained its Independence from the British mandate in 1948 and has been developing since then and at the same time defending itself from enemies surrounding the county from all sides except the Mediterranean Sea. After fighting many wars, Egypt and Jordan signed Peace treaties with Israel.

Israel Tourism

About a growing industry that has reached new heights as the years go by and the national carrier El Al Israel Airlines.

Getting here and getting around. The country has the necessary infrastructure to welcome millions of visitors from all over the world.

Jerusalem the Capital of Israel

We learn about Jerusalem of today and yesterday. This is the eternal Capital of Israel, united in one huge metropolitan area, open to people of all creeds, races and religions.

This is the city that Jews have been yearning for during millennia.

Old Jerusalem

Learn about Old Jerusalem where you’ll find Jews’ most sacred site the Western Wall, in Hebrew Hakotel Hamaaravi.

We visit its four quarters and many synagogues, mosques and churches on the narrow streets that go back to the times of King David.

Holy Land Tours

Let us visit all Jerusalem Churches, one by one like the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Church of All nations and the Garden of Gethsemane in Jerusalem.

Jewish Tours

We talk about the successful program of Taglit or Birthright or Bar and Bat Mitzvah Tours where whole families enjoy celebrating this milestone in Israel mainly on the Western Wall.

Israel Today

A country that is only 62 years young is today a developed country with almost 8 million inhabitants. In this site you learn about its people, its economy and the variety of its population.

In Israel Jews, Arabs and Christian live together and work together.

Israel History

To understand the complexity of Israel one has to learn Jewish and Israel History. We talk about ancient history and more recent stories and the leaders that made this dream possible.

Sea of Galilee

We learn about the Sea of Galilee where Jesus taught his disciples and lived most of his life, the ruins of Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes and Nazareth with its spectacular Basilica of the Annunciation.

The Church of All Nations

Tel Aviv and Haifa

If you are interested in the modern cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa, we talk about all their particular details. Like Tel Aviv beaches and museums, or the impressive Mount Carmel in Haifa, home of the world known Technion.

Eilat

No Israel Travel is complete without a visit to Eilat. Once a small town at the southern tip of Israel, with a bare beach and a few houses that I found in 1959, to a thriving Riviera with Super Deluxe Hotels attracting visitors from all over the world to its beaches.

The Negev Desert

Full with surprises and spectacular flora and fauna and above all the Ramon Crater, one of the biggest in the world.

Israel Tourist Attractions

We’ll visit places you cannot miss on your Israel Travel Experience like Masada, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Galilee of Galil in Hebrew, and all the way to Rosh Hanikra, Metula and the Golan Heights all the way to the north.

Modern Tel Aviv

So, now prepare yourself as we land at the state of the art Ben Gurion International Airport and proceed to our Triumphal Entrance to Jerusalem.
